Just a quick word about marketingez.com and why I started this site…

Like many, I stumbled into the world of search marketing with the hopes of making some extra money from home. And like many, I fell into the trap of thinking it would simple (you know those long spammy salesletters i’m talking about!). I’ve long since learned that search marketing is anything but simple. In fact, this is one of the most dyanmic industries I’ve come across — you *have* to be on top of your game at all times to keep up with the big boys…

And so that brings me to the reason for this site…

If you’ve been looking for information on for any length of time, you know that there is a sickening amount of MISinformation out there. With all of the conflicting and flat out wrong information so readily available, it can be difficult to find your way.

My goal for this site is to give you *real* information based on personal results. While I’ve had a number of successes in the past few years, I’ll be the first to tell you that I’ve had a number of failures too. But all the while I’ve learned what works and what doesn’t. And you’re going to get the benefit of that real world education right here…

Along the way I’ve also realized that I really enjoy search marketing, especially paid search. And so you’ll see a lot of emphasis there. In many ways the Internet is still widely untapped, and the little guy *can* still compete. It just takes focusing on the RIGHT things and then DOING them…
